Basic stuff

I am a 32 years old, married web fanatic living in Helsinki, Finland. I have been doing websites for over 10 years, 8 of them professionally. I am currently employed by Otava and available for freelance work. Besides Finnish, I speak English och jag talar svenska.

What I'm most interested in is creating smart, easy-to-use and good looking websites, presentations and applications. I have a good knowledge of different technologies' capabilities and how they can be used in creating stuff that serve the users in the best possible way. I also feel very strongly that when creating websites, the administrative side is just as important as the client side.

Tech

I can tell computers what to do in these languages: (X)HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, Actionscript 2 & 3. I also know a thing or two about user interfaces, usability and web standards. I'm always looking for the simplest and most lightweight approach, and make sure that the security side is taken care of.

ps. I'm also very experienced with PowerPoint!
